Ugh, that’s a groaner…

A few weeks ago,I had a customer tell me a dad joke at work completely unprovoked. She mentioned that her husband told her that people smiled because they were being polite. Sure, some people may nod and smile to be polite. But it made my day.

People know I love dad jokes and are more than happy to share them with me. Most of my dad jokes come from a dad-abase or reading joke books in the bathroom (you know, for shits and giggles). But I definitely do enjoy when people care to share. So I find it fitting that of all the employees I work with, she chose me.

I know that not everyone is going to enjoy my dad jokes, and some might be super annoyed. But the chance of making someone smile in my opinion is worth all of the groans, moans and eye rolls. Keep up the good fight, and thank you.
